application | Sudan orange g Chinese alias 2, 4-dihydroxyazobenzene can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis. Azobenzene group is a kind of functional group with optical activity. It can realize reversible conversion between cis and trans by irradiating it with light waves of different wavelengths. Because azobenzene has photoisomerization properties, it can be applied to surface relief grating materials, liquid crystal materials and drug controlled release. |
preparation | Sudan organic matter is prepared as follows: 0.03mol aniline, 6ml 36% concentrated hydrochloric acid and 20ml water are added to a 100ml flask. Add 0.03mol of sodium nitrite and 10ml of water to a 10ml flask. Under the condition of 0-5 ℃, the sodium nitrite solution was dropped into aniline/hydrochloric acid solution and stirred for 2 hours to obtain diazonium salt solution. Add 0.03mol resorcinol to a 100ml beaker and add water to completely dissolve it. Under the condition of 0-5 ℃, the diazonium salt solution was dripped into the resorcinol solution and stirred, the dripping time was 4 hours, and then the reaction was 10 hours, and the red azobenzene was precipitated when the dripping was added. Azobenzene Sultan organic matter is filtered out. |
